Autobiography
I was born in the
Neiva-Huila, Colombia, on a sunny day of September 10th, 1998. My
mom tells me I almost pass away because I was so much time in her belly but,
thanks to the Divine Providence I am here today to tell you a little bit about
my life. My mom Fernanda, and my dad Andrés were almost 20 when they gave birth
to me; after that they settled down in a little apartment here in Neiva city.
When I was 3 years old, we moved to Bogotá city due to financial issues. Since
I was a little kid, I have been good at English and I remember this taste for
the English language started because my
dad used to play songs in English many times. I studied all my elementary
education in Bogotá in a public school, then, in 2012, I moved back to Neiva with my parents and my
sister, Valentina, who was born in 2006. Doing my secondary education in Neiva
at a public school, made me be aware of diverse issues regarding English
language learning process, by those days, I didn’t know all this awareness I was giving
with. When I was in the school, I was likely to explain my classmates some
topic they did not understand. I would rather to say that by those times I
started developing this teaching characteristics in my personality. Time went
by, and I started to study in Ileusco; there, I acquired knowledge regarding
the English language.
Now, I am
currently in a undergraduate program, and I can say that in the very beginning
of this journey, I didn’t feel like teaching an option in life, now, I am 21, I
have been through different experiences regarding the teaching field that have
enhance my urge to be an English teacher.
